Chinese company contracted for mega military project

A Chinese company has been contracted to build a 15-story accommodation and logistics building at the Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi military base in Male’ City. The project, described by the Maldivian government as the largest military infrastructure development project in the country’s history, was awarded to China's Rotime Engineering and Technology Corporation (RETC) on Monday.
