Monsoon rains cause major crop damage in Kandoodhoo

The ongoing monsoon rains in Maldives have caused irreparable damage to several fields in Kandoodhoo, one of the country’s most prominent agricultural islands, PNC MP for Kinbidhoo constituency, and native of Kandoodhoo, Ali Ashraq said Saturday. Ashraq shared photos and videos of the damage on Facebook. The footage shows various trees and shrubs in Kandoodhoo’s fields uprooted, broken in-half or flattened by
