MET forecasts thunder and heavy rain for next 3 days

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET Office) has forecasted heavy rain accompanied with thunder for the upcoming three days. The weather forecast authority said Maldives has entered into a transitional period, shifting from northeast monsoon (dry-season) to southwest monsoon (wet-season). The authority noted the cloud trough formations to the south of the Maldives has slowly been moving towards southern atolls resulting in the
