VIA records 621T of sea-to-air transshipment cargo

Velana International Airport (VIA) has recorded its highest-ever monthly volume of sea-to-air transshipment cargo, handling more than 621 tonnes in a single month. Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), the operator of VIA, said the achievement marks a significant milestone in the airport's sea-to-air and air-to-air cargo operations. The company added that total transshipment cargo handled during the month exceeded 2,000 tonnes,
