Former Atoll Council President Hassan Faihath Qudhrathulla has been appointed Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC).
FDC announced the appointment in a post on X, stating that the company is pleased to welcome Faihath to the leadership team and looks forward to achieving further success and sustainable growth under his guidance.
Faihath, who was appointed on Thursday evening, previously served as the President of the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Council and has extensive experience in management and community leadership. He also serves as the Managing Director of ZNF Energy Company Pvt Ltd, a private-sector business operating in the Maldives.
In addition to his governance and corporate background, Faihath contested the 2024 Parliamentary Elections as an independent candidate for the Thinadhoo South constituency. He has also represented the Maldives in international development delegations, including a high‑level seminar for local council members held in the People’s Republic of China.
With his appointment, FDC now has two Deputy Managing Directors, Faihath and Ibrahim Razzan.
FDC is a state‑owned corporation focused on delivering accessible social housing across the Maldives.
