Maldivian man found dead in Hulhumale’ guesthouse

A Maldivian national has been found dead inside a guesthouse in Hulhumalé Phase I.

Maldives Police Service identified the deceased as 50-year-old Mohamed Razeen of Star, Malé.

According to the Police, Razeen had a history of previous arrests in connection with various criminal offences.

Authorities said they received a report this afternoon of an unresponsive individual found on the third floor of a guesthouse. Citing medical officials, the Police confirmed that he had already died by the time he was transported to the hospital.

The case is under further investigation by the Police.
