Fenaka MD to be summoned over Hithadhoo power outages

MDP’s Maavah MP Ahmed Shakir has formally requested Parliament's State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Committee to summon Fenaka Corporation’s Managing Director Mohamed Afeef Hussain over the prolonged unresolved electricity crisis in L. Hithadhoo. In a letter addressed to Parliament Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla, MP Shakir called on the government to reduce unnecessary expenditure and ensure the provision of constitutionally guaranteed basic rights to
