Thoriq elected FAM president

Ahmed Thoriq (Tom), who previously held the post, has again been elected President of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM). Thoriq was the only one to file his nomination for the FAM's electoral congress held at the Meerumaa Hotel on Saturday. He filed his nomination with the support of all the member clubs. Since only one candidate contested a referendum was taken.
