The Road Development Corporation (RDC) has been awarded the contract to build a handball court in Himandhoo, North Ari Atoll.
The Ministry of Sports announced the contract’s agreement on Wednesday. The agreement was signed by Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation Abdulla Rafiu on behalf of the ministry. RDC Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem signed on behalf of the company.
The cost of the project and other details were not disclosed.
RDC has been awarded some similar works in the past. The company has also been awarded the contract for the construction of health centers in some islands.
