The Bar Council has on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Maldives Police Service regarding the circulation of an unverified document falsely attributed to the Bar Council.

The Bar Council stated that it has become aware of a document being disseminated that purports to be a mock paper for the Bar Examination. This document reportedly utilizes an outdated logo of the Bar Council of Maldives.

The Bar Council unequivocally clarified that it has not endorsed or published any document or mock paper related to the Bar Examination other than those officially released on its website or social media channels.

Information regarding the upcoming Bar Examination, scheduled for October this year, is exclusively disseminated through the Bar Council's official website and social media platforms.

The Bar Council further expressed concern that the circulation of such unverified documents could cause confusion among students preparing for the bar examination and urged those responsible to cease such activities.
