In the first week of next month, Maldivian band 2ofus is set to participate in the auditions for Britain's Got Talent.

The band recently traveled to India to attend the live auditions for India's Got Talent Season 11 and was also shortlisted for the 19th season of Britain's Got Talent.

Following their audition for India's Got Talent, 2ofus was presented with a scheduling conflict, as the India competition and the upcoming rounds of Britain's Got Talent coincided. The band ultimately chose to represent Maldives in Britain's Got Talent.

Upon their return to the Maldives, the band's lead singer, Ahmed Adhuham, informed SSTV at Velana International Airport (VIA) of their aspiration to compete in the larger competition.

The band collectively decided to pursue Britain's Got Talent with the aim of achieving significant success in the competition.

Adhuham stated that the band intends to feature as many Maldivian songs as possible during the competition to promote Dhivehi music.

2ofus has called upon its fanbase to continue their support, acknowledging that the positive response they have received is driving their progress.

Known for their distinct blend of Maldivian and international sounds, 2ofus recently secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Battle of the Bands International in India. This decision marks a significant milestone as the first Maldivian band to reach such a prominent stage, aiming to elevate Maldivian culture on a global platform.
