Nepalese league champions, Help Nepal SC has secured a difficult win from Maldivian champions, Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) in the CAVA Men’s Champions League 2025.

The CAVA Men’s Champions League – the biggest men’s club volleyball competition in central Asia – began in Male’ on Thursday afternoon.

Help Nepal SC won the match held on Thursday night in 3-2 sets. Both teams showcased a strong performance.

In this regard, Help Nepal SC won the first two sets by 33-21 and 25-20 respectively. DSC won the next two sets by 25-22 and 25-01.

With both teams having won two sets each, the match proceeded to a decisive fifth set, where Help Nepal SC emerged victorious by 15-08.

CAVA Men’s Champions League 2025 kicked off with a ceremony attended by Sports Minister Abdulla Rafiu as the chief guest.

Three matches are also scheduled for Friday.

The winning team from this tournament will get the opportunity to compete in the AVC Club Champions League, the largest volleyball competition in Asia. The Champion team of the AVC Club Champions League guarantees entry to the World Championship.
