Teen injured in attack in Fuvahmulah

A teenager was attacked in Fuvahmulah City on Tuesday, leaving him injured.

The incident, which resulted in injuries to an 18-year-old Maldivian male, was reported to the police at around 08:54 pm on Tuesday.

According to the police, the external injuries he sustained include a split nose and mouth, swelling in his face and other minor injuries.

He has been transferred to Addu City for further treatment, said a police spokesperson.

The police have yet to announce any arrests, but said they were investigating the case.
