One injured in brawl outside Hulhumale’ café

A fight broke out between two men outside a café in Hulhumale’ on Saturday night, leaving one of them bleeding from the nose.

The incident, which took place in a café’ in front of the Centro Mall bus stop in Hulhumale’ Phase I, was reported to the police at around 08:20 pm Saturday.

A police spokesperson said that one of the men broke his nose in the incident, while the other did not show any outward sign of injury.

A video taken by a bystander in the aftermath of the brawl shows a man holding a tissue to his nose as he stands next to a police officer. It also shows a large pool of blood near his feet.

The incident is under investigation by the police.
