The Police apologised for any inconvenience caused to commuters and the general public and expressed appreciation for their cooperation.
The government is currently carrying out a major project to upgrade and modernize Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Malé, with the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) contracted to undertake the work. The project involves widening the northern side of the road and paving it with asphalt to improve traffic flow and pedestrian accessibility.
