Man sought in sexual-harassment case identified following public assistance

Police say the man sought in connection with a sexual-harassment case has now been identified.

The Family and Child Protection Unit of police had earlier released video footage seeking public assistance to identify the individual as part of an ongoing investigation.

The footage showed a man wearing a white short‑sleeved shirt and light blue jeans, walking along a street and standing in front of a residence in Male' city.

Police have since confirmed that the man has been identified, and thanked the public for their cooperation.
