Young girl dies after fall from STELCO tower

A young girl has died after falling from one of STELCO towers in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

An eyewitness who spoke to Sun said that the incident took place at approximately 12:40pm this afternoon.

Hulhumale' Hospital stated that the minor was brought to the hospital at approximately 12:43pm and was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Police confirmed that the victim was a two-year-old girl.

The Police are currently at the scene of the incident.

Notably, 16-year-old girl was injured after falling from the third floor of Aman Udhares Tower 2 in Hulhumale' Phase II on Monday. The teenager is currently receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital which reported that her condition is improving.
