BML announces two-year partnership with WeRuN Maldives

Bank of Maldives (BML) on Thursday announced a two-year partnership with WeRun Maldives to support their premier corporate relay race.

According to BML, this partnership reinforces the bank’s commitment to promoting wellness, teamwork, and inclusive participation within the corporate community.

The BML stated that through the partnership, the bank will support WeRun Maldives and development of the event over the next two years, with the first run taking place this year.

The race is a 5-runner, 1 KM per-runner relay challenge specifically designed for companies, institutions, and organizations operating in the Maldives.

It blends athletic competition with corporate identity, offering a dynamic platform for organizations to strengthen team spirit while championing healthy lifestyles.

BML continues to support sports development across the Maldives through national initiatives, strategic partnerships, and programs that promote youth engagement, workplace wellness, and inclusive access to sporting opportunities throughout the country.
