Higher Education Ministry opens PhD scholarships at Zhejiang University

The Ministry of Higher Education has opened applications for Maldivian students to pursue PhD studies in China under a new scholarship opportunity announced on Sunday evening.

The scholarships are offered for two programmes at the Institute of Global Development of Zhejiang University:  

• PhD in Applied Economics  

• PhD in Public Administration

Applications will remain open until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, 25 March.

According to the ministry, applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, and each applicant may apply for only one of the two programmes.

Applications can be submitted through the Ministry of Higher Education portal, and further details are available on the ministry’s website and the Kuri portal.
