Woman reported missing returns home safe

A young woman reported missing from Male’ has returned home safe, says the police.

Fathimath Noora, 32, Kashimaage, Lh. Naifaru, was last seen leaving her home at around 08:00 pm Wednesday. Her family reported her missing to the police at 12:19 am Thursday, after she failed to return home.

A police spokesperson said on Thursday afternoon that Noora returned home at around 11:20 am, and that the family reports she is safe.

The missing person’s report has prompted the police to make a public appeal for help.
