Dhiraagu has announced that the second event of this year’s kite festival, the Dhiraagu GudiFest, will take place on Friday in Hulhumale’.
According to Dhiraagu, the vibrant festival will be held from 05:00 pm to 06:00 pm at the Dhiraagu Beach in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
It follows the first GudiFest event of this Ramadan, which was held last Friday at the Usfasgandu area in Male’, drawing strong participation and positive support from the public.
Children of all ages are invited to join the festival, where Dhiraagu will gift a complimentary kite to every participant, bringing families together for an evening of joy and fun.
Dhiraagu GudiFest was launched by the company in 2023 to encourage more children to engage in the traditional cultural practice of kite flying during the evenings of Ramadan.
Continuing the tradition, Dhiraagu GudiFest will be held across the Maldives this year as well.
Dhiraagu is a company that strives to actively connect with the public during Ramadan, hosting exciting activities and offering promotions.
The company says it is also dedicated to preserving and reviving Dhivehi culture and traditional customs, introducing a variety of programs to celebrate and honor local heritage.
