Dhiraagu hands over speedboat to final winner of promotion

Dhiraagu has officially handed over the second and final speedboat to the winner of its highly anticipated ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion.

The grand prize, an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 sports speedboat fitted with a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine, was presented to the winner, Mohamed Yoosuf of K. Malé, during a special ceremony held at the Al Shaali Marine boatyard. The speedboat was handed over by Dhiraagu’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Ismail Rasheed.

Recalling the moment he was informed that he had won the grand prize, Yoosuf described it as an exceptionally joyful and memorable experience for both himself and his family. Having been a loyal Dhiraagu customer since the early days of fixed-line telephone services and a Dhiraagu Mobile customer for the past 28 years, he expressed his sincere appreciation to Dhiraagu for providing customers with the opportunity to win such valuable rewards.

Launched in August 2025, the ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion offered existing and new Dhiraagu Prepaid, Postpaid, and Fibre Broadband customers the chance to win one of two brand-new sports speedboats. The campaign received an enthusiastic response from customers across the Maldives, with widespread participation and excitement throughout the promotional period. Customers who fulfilled the eligibility requirements and enrolled before 31 March 2026 were included in the lucky draw. Earlier this year, Abdulla Saeed was announced as the winner of the first speedboat. Through initiatives such as these, Dhiraagu continues to enhance customer experiences by offering exclusive promotions and unique opportunities that stand out in the Maldives.
