The Ministry of Economic Development has announced the operating hours for shops, restaurants, and cafes during Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal.
According to the ministry, restaurants and cafes will be permitted to operate from 17:30 to 03:00 throughout Ramadan. During the first seven days of Shawwal, they may open from 04:30 until midnight.
Shops will be allowed to open from 05:30 to 01:00 starting Tuesday, and these hours will remain in effect for the entirety of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal. The ministry said the directive applies to all shops selling goods in residential areas.
According to the calendar, Ramadan is expected to begin next Wednesday.
