Kulhudhuffushi mourns sudden death of 16-year-old girl

A 16-year-old girl has passed away unexpectedly in Kulhudhuffushi City.

Sun has learned that the girl who passed away is Shafza Abdulla, a tenth-grade student at Kulhudhuffushi School. She is her mother’s only child.

Northwest Kulhudhuffushi councilor Ahmed Abdulla confirmed to Sun that it was a sudden death. He was unaware of the cause of her death. 

Shafza’s funeral prayer will be held this evening after Asr prayer at Kulhudhuffushi Masjid al-Halaarath.

Sun was unsuccessful in its efforts to obtain a comment from Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital regarding Shafza’s death.
