Maldives Metrological Service (Met Office) has forecasted good weather across the Maldives as schools are set close for holidays following the conclusion of another academic year on Thursday.
The school holidays always see a travel boom with high demand for international and domestic flights, speedboats and boats.
Met Office, on Wednesday, told Sun that weather conditions across the Maldives over the next three to four days are expected to be favorable for travel. It added that while the northern and central atolls are unlikely to see rain, light rain may occur in the southern atolls.
Winds in northern and southern atolls will range between three miles per hour to 12 miles per hour while winds in central atolls will range between 10 miles per hour to 10 miles per hour.
Sea is expected to be mild across the Maldives.
Although good weather conditions have been forecasted, Met Office states there is still threat of air pollution with Male’ and central atolls expected to see the worst air pollution in the next three to four days.
