Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has established a CCTV Monitoring Command Centre in Hulhumale’ as part of efforts to enhance security in the suburban city.
HDC said the CCTV Monitoring Command Centre was set up at Vinares Flat Nine in Hulhumale’ Phase II as part of efforts to strengthen security in the area and enhance overall safety in Hulhumale’.
The Corporation is also undertaking efforts to install CCTV cameras outside Hiyaa flats, where thousands of people reside.

Notably, HDC also launched estate security services to enhance the safety of people residing in Hulhumale’ during a ceremony held on Sunday night.
The uniform and logo of the estate security services were also unveiled during the ceremony.
HDC stated that the primary purpose of introducing estate security services is to ensure the safety of residents and their property to the greatest extent possible.
The Corporation added that security personnel will receive training as part of the program and will be provided with the necessary resources to carry out their duties professionally.
