President Muizzu embarks on tour of Lh. Atoll and K. Atoll

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Monday morning departed on a two-day tour of islands in Lh. Atoll and K. Atoll.

According to the President’s Office, he will visit four islands in Lh. Atoll, and three in K. Atoll.

They are:

• Lh. Naifaru
• Lh. Hinnavaru
• Lh. Kurendhoo
• Lh. Olhuvelifushi
• K. Kaashidhoo
• K. Dhiffushi
• K. Thulusdhoo

His first stop was Olhuvelifushi.

During the tour, President Muizzu will meet with members of the local council and women’s development committees to key development priorities and explore ways to enhance community welfare. He will also engage directly with residents to better understand their needs and concerns.

According to the President’s Office, the tour is part of his initiative to tour all Maldivian atolls, to strengthen direct engagement with atoll, island, and city councils to advance development across the country.

He is accompanied on the trip by several cabinet ministers and senior officials from key government institutions.
