Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded self-service banking ATM service to all residential islands in Faafu Atoll, with the establishment of ATM centers in Dharanboodhoo and Magoodhoo on Sunday.
The inauguration ceremonies of the ATM centres were attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, cabinet ministers, BML’s chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb and CEO, Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, alongside other senior bank officials.
Shareef said the expansion of ATM services to all residential islands in Faafu Atoll marks a significant milestone for the Bank and a much-anticipated service for the communities in these islands.
“We’re delighted to announce all inhabited islands in Faafu atoll now have our state-of-the-art Self-Serving banking ATMs to serve customers 24/7 without the need to travel to nearby islands,” he said.
Shareef reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to promoting financial inclusion across the country.
