Nolhivaram man goes missing after disembarking boat in Nadella

The police are searching for a young man from HDh. Nolhivaram who went missing after disembarking a boat in GDh. Nadella.

Adam Ibrahim, 34, Suhaany, HDh. Nolhivaram, was last seen disembarking the ‘Ithubaaru’, which arrived in Nadella at around 02:00 pm on Sunday.

But he never returned to the boat and hasn’t been heard from since.

He was reported missing to the police at 10:25 pm on Sunday.

The police said that a team was deployed to Nadella on Sunday night, and searched the island as well as nearby uninhabited islands.

They continue to search for him, but have not yet had any luck finding him.

The police asked for anyone with information regarding Adam Ibrahim’s whereabouts to contact the GDh. Rathafandhoo Police Station at 7909311.
