Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) has announced their decision to provide criminal record clearance service via e-Faas.
DJA, via an announcement on Thursday, said the change was being made to ease the process of criminal record clearance for the public.
According to the authority, effective next Thursday, the service will be provided via e-Faas.
Applications for criminal record clearance can be submitted to DJA’s online portal using e-Faas.
DJA said, effective June 1st, it will no longer accept criminal record clearance applications submitted by private individuals using the current application form.
However, the authority confirmed that it will continue to accept criminal record clearance requests submitted by government institutions and companies, as per current procedures. These submissions must include the completed form along with an official letter requesting the clearance.
