MIB’s Guesthouse Symposium scheduled for October 2nd

Building on the success of last year, Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) will be holding the Guesthouse Symposium this year as well.

According to the bank, this year’s Guesthouse Symposium will be held on October 2^nd, at Crossroads Maldives.

MIB said the symposium will serve as a platform for guesthouses and other tourism-related businesses to come together to discuss challenges faced by the industry and seek advise from industry experts.

The bank noted that efforts are being made to increase participation from liveaboards in this year’s Symposium.

MIB affirmed that this year’s Symposium will be conducted with improvements based on comments and suggestions received from last year’s participants.

The first edition of the Guesthouse Symposium was held last year with the participation of over 150 participants from guesthouses, associations, supporting businesses, and liveaboards.

MIB said the event proved to be a significant opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas, further strengthening the community among industry stakeholders.

Applications to participate in this year’s Symposium will be opened online soon.
