Dhiraagu’s newly appointed CEO and Managing Director Valdemar Ferradaz, on Thursday, reaffirmed the company’s commitment on aligning its services with global standards.
Speaking at a press conference, Ferradaz said technology is evolving rapidly amid broader global changes. While acknowledging that these developments can present both challenges and opportunities, he described technological advancement as a major opportunity for growth.
"Through our investments, we are working to ensure our services are aligned with global benchmarks," he stressed.
He also expressed his appreciation to Dhiraagu’s customers, noting that their continued support has been fundamental to the company’s 38-year presence in the telecommunications industry.
A South African national, Ferradaz has more than 38 years of experience in the digital services and telecommunications sectors. His career includes working with investors and regulators across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Ferradaz assumed the position of Dhiraagu’s leadership on July 31, following the retirement of Ismail Rasheed, who held the position for 11 years. The company’s CEO is appointed by its majority shareholder, Beyon, under the supervision of a board committee.
