Tree Top Hospital has opened applications for its annual nursing scholarship program for the September 2026 intake.

The scholarship is a valuable opportunity for young Maldivians who wish to build a strong future in the healthcare sector.

Since the program was introduced in 2021, a total of 23 nursing scholarships have been awarded. Of these, 12 graduates are currently serving as nurses at Tree Top Hospital, while the remaining scholars continue their studies. The hospital says this progress marks an important step in developing skilled Dhivehi nurses.

This year’s scholarship is offered for two Villa College programs: the BSc (Hons) Nursing (International) Top-Up and the Diploma in Nursing (3 years).

The opportunity is open to Maldivian citizens, including both new and continuing students enrolled in Villa College’s approved nursing programs. Applicants must not be recipients of any other educational scholarship.

“Nurses play a vital role in healthcare. This scholarship program, in partnership with Villa College, reflects our commitment to developing skilled professionals and supporting students throughout their academic journey,” he said.

Applications will be accepted from 15 to 30 September 2026 via [email protected]. For more information, applicants may contact 7350642.

Tree Top Hospital says it remains committed to advancing healthcare in the Maldives and the wider South Asian region through innovation, collaboration and continuous professional development.
