Shuaib Yoosuf appointed to Employment Tribunal

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, on Thursday, has appointed  Shuaib Yoosuf as a member of the Employment Tribunal.

The appointment was formalized during a special ceremony held at the President's Office on Thursday morning.

Prior to his appointment, Shuaib Yoosuf took the oath of office as a member of the Employment Tribunal. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed Hussain, following which the President formally presented him with his appointment letter during the ceremony.

Shuaib previously held various positions at the Elections Commission, including the role of Director General, from which he resigned in 2016.

The Employment Tribunal comprises eight members, including its President and Vice President. Last month, Amjad Musthafa, who previously served as Chief Judicial Administrator, was appointed as President of the Tribunal. This month, Ahmed Mamdooh, a former Deputy Minister at the Economic Ministry, was appointed as the tribunal’s Vice President.
