Man arrested for violence near Male’ Fish Market area

Maldives Police Service has arrested a Maldivian man in connection with an assault which took place near Male’ Fish Market area on Wednesday night.

The incident was reported to the Police at approximately 22:08 last night.

According to the Police, the victim of the assault is a Maldivian male.

While he is currently receiving treatment at IGMH, and the Police reported that his condition is not serious.

The case is under further investigation following the arrest of the alleged perpetrator.
