Court orders five day remand for four suspects arrested after early morning disturbance in Hulhumale'

Four youths arrested from an apartment in Hulhumale' have been remanded in custody for five days.

Police said they received a call at 6:05 am on Saturday reporting a disturbance inside an apartment in Hulhumale' Phase I.

The four suspects arrested in connection with the incident were produced before the court and remanded for five days each.

Those arrested are:

• Rifga Jamaal, Boalhakinkirimaage, G.Dh. Gadhdhoo (29)  

• Suha Shafeeu, Dhaftharu No. 93301 (26)  

• Hassan Lujain Mohamed, Fareesamanzil, N. Velidhoo (24)  

• Ibrahim Mansoor, Ranthari, N. Velidhoo (34)

Police said investigation officers and scene of crime officers searched the apartment and collected evidence, including empty bottles believed to be alcohol.

Police have not disclosed any further details regarding the incident.
