A 16-year-old boy sustained critical injures on Monday night, after he fell from a second-floor apartment at the Amaan Dhoadhi towers located in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
According to the police, the young boy fell from the second floor of Amaan Dhoadhi 5.
The incident was reported to the police around 11:14 pm Monday.
The boy was initially rushed to the Hulhumale’ Hospital, but was later transferred to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ City.
A spokesperson from IGMH told Sun on Tuesday that he was being treated on a ventilator, but did not provide any details.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s fall.
