In a warning posted in Arabic on social media, military spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged civilians to move at least 1,000 metres away from villages and towns, saying anyone near Hezbollah members, weapons, or facilities would be at risk.

The evacuation order came as Israeli attacks intensified despite a ceasefire that has struggled to hold amid repeated violations and mutual accusations.

Deadly strikes follow Hezbollah rejection of truce terms

The latest escalation follows remarks by Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, who rejected a conditional truce proposal put forward by Lebanese and Israeli envoys.

Qassem instead demanded a comprehensive ceasefire and a full Israeli withdrawal, while warning of renewed attacks on northern Israel.

Overnight, Israeli strikes on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre killed seven people, according to a Lebanese civil defence source.

One strike near Jabal Amel Hospital reportedly killed four people, wounded seven others, and caused minor damage to the medical facility.

A separate strike elsewhere in the city killed three more people and injured five, including two children.

The latest violence underscores the fragility of the ceasefire and raises concerns that border clashes could spiral into a broader confrontation if diplomatic efforts fail.
