Search underway after man disappears in waters off STELCO, Hulhumale'

A man has gone missing after he fell into the sea near the STELCO area in Hulhumale' on Thursday evening.

Police said the man swam underwater at around 18:30 while attempting to tie a rope along the waterfront beside the STELCO Hulhumale' power station.

Marine Police and the MNDF Coast Guard have launched a search operation in the area to locate him.
