Education Ministry has opened applications for students seeking admission for higher secondary, A’ Level, in government schools for the upcoming academic session.

The Ministry stated that interested and eligible students may now submit their applications, with the deadline set for May 28th.

According to the Ministry’s guidelines, applicants are generally expected to be between 16 and 17 years of age as of the end of last year. However, students who have completed Grade 10 and meet the required academic criteria remain eligible for enrollment, provided they are under the age of 18.

Additionally, students who sat for their O’ Level examinations in the February/March session of this year and obtained qualifying results are also encouraged to apply for higher secondary studies.

The Ministry noted that schools will begin informing parents of student placements starting next Monday. Once placements are confirmed, the respective schools will send detailed registration instructions to parents via their registered email addresses.
