Iran’s Foolad Sepahan has been crowned the champions of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Women’s League 2026 after winning all matches the team took part in during the tournament.
Foolad has subsequently secured qualification for the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Club Championship, with the CAVA Women’s League 2026 serving as a qualifying tournament for the continental event.
Foolad defeated Kazakhstan’s Turan VC in the final match in three straight sets: first set 25-22, second set 25-20 and third set 25-20.
The final match was officiated by Sports Minister Abdulla Raafiu and attended by senior officials from the Sports Ministry and Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC).
The tournament’s dream team:
Foolad’s Poorsaleh Shandeshsari Elaheh was selected the most valuable player of the tournament.
Nepal Police Club, champions of the 2024 edition of the tournament held in the Maldives, finished third in this year’s competition. The team secured third place against Hirdaramani in 3-1 sets.
Two Maldivian teams — Club Wamco and Huraa Community Club — competed in the competition, but both were eliminated during the group stage.
Sun Siyam Media was the official media partner of the tournament.
