Nepalese teen found safe days after reported missing from Male’

A 19-year-old Nepalese woman who went missing from Male’ City last week has been found safe, say the police.

Purnima Gajmer, 19, was reported missing to the police on October 23.

In a media statement, the police announced that Purnima was found on Sunday morning.

She was found safe, reads the brief statement.

The police had asked the public’s aid in finding Purnima on October 24, a day after she was reported missing.

According to the police, she was last seen at around 02:00 pm on October 21.

The police have not disclosed any information regarding the nature of her disappearance.
